		<description>Seems we only measure things in order to make comparisons (in fact, measurement itself just means comparing something with a scale of measurement). On the one hand, I think that clients feel the need to measure design in order to justify spending money on it and designers feel the need to measure it so that they can justify their rates. 

By posing the question, &quot;why measure?&quot;, are you suggesting that, by measuring the impact of design, we may be missing something important about its real value? If so, I think you might be on to something.</description>
